The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards were held at the Prudential Centre, New Jersey on August 28th 2022. Kiel Tutin had choreography featured in back to back performances of the night by J Balvin and BLACKPINK.
J Balvin performed his collaboration with Ryan Castro 'Nivel De Perreo' on a slanted stage, from the minds of Creative Direction duo 'The Squared Division', and featured eight futuristic dancers, and a larger-than-life AR visual of a twerking woman.
BLACKPINK made their long awaited US award show debut with their show-stopping performance of 'Pink Venom', featuring choreography by Kiel Tutin. BLACKPINK won two VMA's, one for 'Best Metaverse Performance' featuring their track 'Ready For Love', and 'Best K-POP' for Lisa's solo song 'Lalisa' - both also featuring choreography by Kiel Tutin.
